Hello friends, It has been too long since I wrote any blogs for you, but here I am today to share with you the CRUEL act that I saw in one of the comments (quite many) below a post a few days ago on Instagram. The comments really show me how UNEDUCATED the commenters are. This shows me how CLOSE-MINDED the commenters should be. Well, by now you must be cracking your head about what post it must be and what type of comment it could be. I guess you might have some idea about it (atleast a bit) after seeing the topic of this blog. As it is crystal clear from the topic itself, the post was about a Malay celebrity who is a transgender, named Nur Sajat. Honestly, I don't know much about her career or her character, but I do have some small ideas about her as sometimes she (Nur Sajat) will be the talk of my classmates. Coming to the point, the topic of the post by a particular page was 'Adik Bersusah Kerana Abang Sajat' (exactly not like that but it was something similar, sorry I couldn't find the post back as I didn't save it). The post by the specific page tries to convey that the sister of Nur Sajat often goes through a bad time because of her brother, which actually refers to Nur Sajat. The comments below the post were 90% negative, and as I noticed, no comment was there to defend Nur Sajat there. There were two comments that made me feel really awful. The first one was "abang ni beban negara", followed by another one "bukan sahaja beban negara malah dunia". The second comment that made me pissed off was 'Nur Sajat pasti terinspirasi dari adiknya yang cantik itu'. Let me list a few wrong deeds that were done by the commenter. Who knows, you might be one of them in the past or in the future, and now the time has arrived for you to learn from your mistake. The first one will be not calling a person by what they want to be called. As per this case, Nur Sajat is a transgender who wants to be called SHE, not HE, so you are not supposed to use the word abang to refer to her. Remember, despite the gender she was assigned at birth, she wants to be called SHE. Right now you might get into a cliche argument with me about how a person could change their gender assigned at birth, how a person can cross dress, isn't it against religion and bla bla bla..

If you are one of them, I strongly advise you to learn about the psychology of transgender people.I strongly advise you to educate yourself on the science behind why are people being a transgender. I would really urge you to learn WHY a person wants to act against the norms of society, despite the individual being aware of the consequences and tragedy he or she might face. If someone is different than you, study them instead of judging the person. And friends, I would like to highlight those people here who are against transgender people in the name of God and religion (no matter what religion it is). This is something I want to ask you if you are one of them. If being a transgender is calculated as a sin by your religion, then what does your religion say about being mean and cruel to an innocent person who is in a state where he or she can't be happy in life unless the person changes his or her gender? What does your religion say about being helpless or even discouraged when a person needs desperate care, help, and guidance? I know the answer. I hope you will too. More over, who we are to give someone's judgment day result on Earth. The Almighty will take care of it, you don't have to take the responsibility to your head.

In the end, it is all beyond religion, its about HUMANITY. The second mistake that I noticed from these commenters was judging or commenting on someone's character based on their gender. Again, I don't know much about Nur Sajat's character, but I am definitely aware of not bringing up the topic of which gender she belongs to, despite whatever she does. Comment on her deeds, not her gender, as this will affect those innocents there from the same transgender community. As I mentioned earlier, some comments state that she is a burden to the country and the world. But what do we call those people in our country who are wasting their time commenting on someone's post which will hurt a person's heart? Dear friends, I am not sure who you were in the past. I am clueless about what you did in the past either. If you are one of them, I pledge you to change yourself. You don't have to support them if you still can't change the way you think and see them, but at least respect them. Give them the rights they should have as human beings. You don't have to be the reason for their success, but don't be the cause of their failure. We all make mistakes. We all should learn from our mistakes and not live in them. Well friends, that's all from me for today. I am tired of writing (typing...) too much after a long day of making muruku. Have a thought about this issue. Happy Deepavali to all my readers in advance, and see you in the next blog. Bye bye and take care.
Disclaimer : The purpose of this blog is not to defend Nur Sajat's character but the transgender community.
